RockStar Live Karaoke Band was formed by Dave Keen and Dave Linder in 2008 (Dave & Dave LLC). We have hired over 30 of the top musicians in the area to fit the bill.We have a catolog of over 100 songs and growing. At first, the main focus of RLKB was to fit the needs of the traditional karaoke singer with a live band. This would give the singer the opportunity of a life time to sit in with a professional band. Then the ideas grew from there. Not only can we provide the Live Karaoke portion, but also we offer a complete entertainment package to tailor the needs of the venue or the customer.
This is what RLKB can bring to you:
• Rock of Ages - Two contestants or teams stand up on the stage with a host and challenge each other to how many seconds they can Name That Rok Tune in. Prizes are awarded for the number one team.
• Can You Rock It - Where an audience member gets on stage to see how much they know about their favorite Rock Bands. This is where the words are not provided at a certain point in the song, and the contestant has to figure what they are. The songs get harder and harder as we move on.
• Rockstar Trivia - The whole audience can play. 10 questions are asked and see how many you get right.
• 50 / 50 Drawing - Each night the audience and the singers will be given the opportunity to enter into a 50 / 50 drawing. Each person that sings that night can enter into the drawing. Half of the proceeds will go the top Rockstar Persona of the night, the other half will go to whomever’s name is drawn out of the bucket.
• DJ Service - We have access to the latest cutting edge music or just your traditional dance type music to play between sets of the Live Band. We have all your favorites!
• Traditional Karaoke - If you just want to Karaoke all night we can do that too. Not only do we offer the live band but we also have a catalog of over 10,000 songs.
• Sound & Lighting - We contracted out to the top Sound & Light Companies in the area to bring you top notch quality. We want someone to come out of this whole night a "Rockstar".
- Lights Camera Action! - We offer the capability of being filmed while on stage and you can purchase a DVD of yourself rocking the house for a nominal fee. Professional quality photos available also.
